Many are the projects that Apple is currently working on for its streaming video service, a service that began its journey on November 1 with little content and to which new titles are being added little by little in the format of series and documentaries.
It seems like Apple is not thinking twice when it comes to renewing some of the series that have already been released, regardless of the assessment of both critics and the public. But not only of the series already released, but also of those that are pending to reach the streaming video service.
Today we talk about the series Little America, a series that at the moment we do not know what it will be called in Spanish (if the title is finally translated). This series has been created by Kumail Nanjiana (the Silicon Valley Indian-born programmer) and Emily V. Gordon (The Great Sickness of Love), starring Nanjiana.
This new series is based on pieces taken from Epic Magazine, all of them are real and its object is tell heartfelt, romantic, and funny stories of immigrants in the United States. According to Variety, Apple believes that this series will be very successful and has decided to renew it for a second season before training.
Lee Eisenberg (The Office) will serve as writer and producer alongside Nanjiana and Gordon. The first season will premiere on January 17 and is composed of 8 episodes, episodes that will have an average duration of 30 minutes. Each episode will tell us unique stories and they will not be linked, so each episode will be starred by different actors.
Zachary Quinto, actor we have seen on Star Trek, Jearnest Corchado, John Ortiz, Angela Lin, Kai To, Sophia Xu, Shaun Toub, Shila Vosought Ommi, Eshan Inamdar, Priynaka Bose are some of the actors who will be part of the cast of the first season of this new series.
