Matching it with the macOS Mojave 10.14.6 update released a week ago, Apple took the opportunity to launch security updates for macOS Sierra and macOS High Sierra. The security update receives the nomenclature 2019-004. From Soy de Mac We always recommend updating any version, especially if it compromises the security of our equipment.

Instead, this time it caused a problem Kernel panic in the teams with the chip T1 and T2, when these come out of standby mode. This is a serious problem that blocks our computers. On this website we tell you the noticia, where you can find more detail.Immediately, Apple pulled the security update from its website and download from the App Store. Instead, this update has been available again for a few hours. We have taken a margin to check if users report any additional errors, but since they do not present significant errors, we recommend again to install the security update for Sierra and High Sierra with the numbering 2019-004. This update can be installed from the Mac App Store or by downloading it from the Apple website.

Apple security

The problem in particular occurred when the Mac came out of standby mode. At that time, a general system error occurred. Interestingly, the affected users indicated that the error occurs in a MacBook Pro. We link you some Apple forums that detail the problem that is occurring on your computers.

Apple caters for any software problem and of course about security flaws of the computer in the current operating system and the two previous ones. For example, you are currently serving macOS Mojave, but also macOS High Sierra and MacOS Sierra. We can say that the vast majority of Macs that are used at the moment have, or at least can support macOS Sierra. Hence, Apple caters for most running Macs. Any news regarding security updates, we will keep you informed.

Let's see, two days ago the security update 2019-006 10.13.6 for Hig Sierra, combined with another one for Safari 13.0.3, was downloaded from the Apple App Store.
Curiously, Safari is the third time it has been downloaded ...
When I installed it, my Mac went crazy. Nothing like this had ever happened; first it did not shut down in the reboot process, and then it did not boot.
After much searching and not finding anything (not even the Apple service, which did not seem to know what I was talking about), I have been able to partially rebuild the operation, doing the following:
    - Boot cmd + R and reinstall the OS
    - Find the Updates folder and delete (there were two in the absence of one) the installers
    - Modify system preferences so it doesn't install anything automatically
This way I can work, but the computer cannot turn off by itself, I must always do it manually, by the button.
If anyone knows how to put the team back together, I will really appreciate it.
PS: restoring from backup does not suit me, because in Time Machine the broken version will already be, and in Super Duper I would lose a part of the important work. Things always happen at the worst time.
