Apple's solution for 13 ″ MacBook Pros that turn themselves off

MacBook Pro 16

It seems that the Cupertino company is trying to fix a problem that occurs in some units of the new 13-inch MacBook Pro and according to some comments by affected users, also in several units of the 15-inch models. In this case it is about the new equipment launched by Apple and it seems that the main problem is that computers turn off by themselves for no apparent reason.

Well, Apple seems to have found a solution to the problem with a sequence that we leave below for affected users to try. It really does not seem like a general problem but it is good that Apple is making an effort to solve the failure that affects users of the new Cheaper 13-inch MacBook Pro.

We are going to have the equipment turned off for a few hours and without being able to use it, so the recommendation is that you do it at night or on that day that you know that you are not going to touch the equipment for the whole time. At Apple they say we need 8 hours to complete the process.

We don't want to delay this much longer, so let's go with the apple method for those users who have been affected by the bug. The first thing we have to do is charge the equipment to 90% battery or in your case make it go down to this capacity if we have it at 100%. Once we have the equipment at 90%, what we have to do is connect the charger and close all open applications (we recommend signing the closure by pressing alt + cmd + Esc) and once closed we also close the lid.

So it should hold for 8 hours without touching the equipment, then we open, search and install the latest available version of macOS for our MacBook Pro. In case this doesn't work and the computer keeps shutting down suddenly for no reason, it is best to contact Apple directly.
