Apple takes the Accessibility of its products very seriously

Apple Accessibility

If we take into account the data provided by the World Health Organization, one in seven people live with some type of disability, which can be translated into that in the world there are a total of nothing more and nothing less than one billion people who suffer from a disability.

When we buy a device or analyze an operating system, 80% of the time the only thing we look at is the external evolution that the device has undergone or the initial improvements that the system has without thinking that in those products, companies like Apple spend a lot of money so they can be used by all kinds of people and thus make life easier for those who suffer from a disability.

Today we are celebrating the World Day so that we all become aware of the Accessibility that must exist in all areas for people with disabilities. We know that we can all have one at any given time in our lives and that is why companies like Apple do not stop innovating so that the operating systems of their products are consistent and provide all the existing possibilities that these people need.

Apple today celebrated this day with the motto:

The most advanced technology moves us all forward.

At World Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) Apple has moved a few chips among which we can name that the web on Accessibility It has been updated adding abundant information and resources focused on four essential areas:Hearing, Physical Skills, Vision and Motor, and Literacy and Learning.

For their part, in physical stores around the world and specifically in Spain some of them have been organized workshops on Accessibility, among which we can find "VoiceOver on the iPad and iPhone" or "The iPad, iPhone and hearing."

In the application store a whole collection of adapted applications has been offered and with accessibility options and the Accessibility Technical Support website provides information to learn about and get help with the accessibility features that come with the Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),.
