Apple takes the opportunity to raise the price of its MacBook

During yesterday's keynote and after a great presentation of the new MacBook of which many details had already transpired before its appearance and that no one was caught by surprise, Apple omitted a detail that was quite important for most potential buyers. This detail is none other than the price of the renovations of the existing MacBook, and it is that just at the end he only made a small note about the hardware updates that would be given in the already known MacBook Pro Retina and MacBook Air, such as the integration of Force Touch in the Trackpad of the MacBook Pro or the higher storage speed and new processors in the MacBook Air.

I say this because if we look closely we will notice how it has happened a price increase on these equipmentTo give just one example, the 13 ″ MacBook Pro Retina models would have risen in price € 120 in the base and intermediate models, being € 170 in the top-of-the-range model. On the other hand, the 15 ″ MacBook Pro Retina would have suffered an increase of € 220 and € 270 respectively in the base model and the top of the range.

Although it is true that the 13 ″ models incorporate new processors, faster storage and Force Touch technology in the Trackpad, it is not logical to see a greater price increase in the 15-inch models since those have not received any type of update, on the contrary, they should have lowered their price in any case.

Possibly these changes in prices are due to the good moment that the US dollar is going through and that Apple has taken advantage of to adjust its sales prices in some of its products. Let's hope that in Spain this trend is not applied in all the other products of the store as has already happened in those of Canada, Australia, New Zealand, France, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Portugal among others.
