Apple has done it. One more achievement to add to your various triumphs. Apple has become the first company to has reached a value of two trillion dollars. It is an astronomical amount, yes, but above all it does more than confirm the support and confidence that the markets have in the company. Despite the legal inconveniences due to monopoly issues or certain declines in prices, Apple is a solid company.
This value of two trillion dollars exceeding the market limit, is achieved by performing a simple mathematical operation. The value of a share is multiplied by the number of shares. The resulting value is the maximum limit. Two years ago Apple broke the billion mark and now it adds a billion more, in just two years.
In March, the markets shook because of the coronavirus and even today many companies are with water up to their necks. But Apple (and many other tech companies) have weathered the storm well. Looking ahead, investors are excited about the possibilities of Apple's content subscription services to generate more continuous income. Apple led the charge for subscriptions with Apple Music and is looking to replicate its success with other media. Services like Apple TV +, Apple News +, and Apple Arcade have all had slow starts, but many believe they will grow as Apple invests even more in producing content and new features.
Surely Apple will continue to grow and especially considering that at the end of the year they will launch computers with their own processors. Something that is sure if it goes well, it will reduce many costs and it will translate into more profits and therefore more the value of your shares will grow. Maybe two years from now we will talk about another barrier that the company has overcome.
