Apple to announce Mythic Quest: Raven's Banquet series at PAX South

MythicQuest

On February 7, a new series will premiere on Apple TV +, a series of which very few details are known and that seems to have some similarity to Silicon Valley (HBO). We're talking about Mythic Quest: Raven's Banquet, a series that will be actively announced in part at PAX South this week in San Antonio, Texas.

Although they have not yet been officially confirmed by Apple, a large number of rumors point in this regard, since this fair is oriented to the world of videogames.

Starring Rob McElhenney (creator and writer of the series It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia with Charlie Day), MythicQuest follows a small game studio while shows us all the ins and outs and tribulations of the development of a new title.

The idea for this new series comes from the video game studio Ubisoft, who contacted McElhenney to develop it, which is listed as a production company with Lionsgate, 3 Arts Entertainment and McElhenney and Day's RCG.

Among the actors that are part of the cast we find Oscar winner of the Hollywood Academy F. Murray Abraham, Danny Pudi, Imani Hakim, Charlotte Nicdao, David Hornsby, Ashly Burch, and Jessie Ennis.

At the moment it is not known how Apple plans to announce this new series at PAX South, but it probably will through promotional panels available to both content creators and Hollywood-related projects.

The first season of this new series, composed of 9 episodes of half an hour duration, will be available on Apple TV + on February 7 in full. At the moment it seems that Apple's forays into the world of television are going as planned, quite the opposite of content intended for the film industry, such as The Banker or Oprah's documentary.
