Apple makes available to all its users a series of applications that allow us to use its services. But in addition, it also makes available a series of applications for the community of developers or content creators, applications like Transporter, an application that has just been updated with interesting news.

Transpoter is the application Apple makes available to the community of developers and content creators to upload content directly to the corresponding Apple platform, whether they are movies, music, books, television series, content that is later distributed through the App Store, Apple Music, Apple TV, Apple Books and iTunes Store.

The latest update of the application for macOS, with which it reaches version 1.2, offers us the next news:

  • It allows uploading .itmsp packages with metadata from the apps.
  • Access the history of the compilations delivered and filter them by time period.
  • New App Languages: Arabic, Catalan, Czech, Traditional Chinese (Hong Kong), Croatian, Danish, Slovak, Spanish (Latin America), Finnish, French (Canada), Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, English (Australia ), English (UK), Malay, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Portuguese (Brazil), Romanian, Russian, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, and Vietnamese.
  • Stability improvements and bug fixes.

Transport was last updated at the end of last year, simplifying the application to make it much easier to use, in addition to adding improvements when uploading files in different formats.

In order to use this application, it is necessary to have a developer account, an App Store Connect or iTunes Connect account. The application requires macOS 10.13.6 or later and is available for download completely free of charge through the link that I leave below.
