In the conference that Tim Cook offered a few days ago through The Wall Street Journal, the CEO of Apple has offered a lot of information that was still not entirely clear. The Fourth generation Apple TV will arrive at the Apple Store Online next Monday the 26th and the first units will be shipped before the end of the week. Also offering the first figures are Apple Music subscribers, which a month after the end of the three-month free period, has reached the figure of 6,5 million users, a third of the number of current Spotify subscribers.

When it seemed that Apple TV would begin to go into a long and deserved retirement after the introduction of the fourth generation model, Apple has just added three new channels to its platform for video consumption over the Internet. The selected channels are CBS, NBC and M2M. These channels will be automatically added to devices in regions where it is supported. CBS will offer content available for a week for users to assess whether or not they are worthy of paying for a subscription to the service, while NBC can only be viewed if we go to the checkout, without being able to previously test the service. The M2M channel will be completely free and dedicated to fashionistas.

Currently the price of the Apple TV 3 that for the moment will continue to be on sale is 79 euros, while the fourth generation will be available from 169 euros in the 32 GB version. But unlike the previous version, this new model has its own application store with which we can install games and / or applications to fully enjoy the big screen in our living room. Also, thanks to the possibility of using gamepads compatible with this device, enjoying games like Asphalt 8, Modern Combat or similar is going to be a real blast.
