Since before the launch of Apple TV +, in March 2019, Apple had been working for some time to reach collaboration agreements with a large number of directors, screenwriters, actors, producers… We saw some of the fruits of this collaboration at the Apple TV + presentation event.
Obviously, Apple cannot rest on its laurels and continues to negotiate different choice priority agreements with a large number of production companies. The last one he has reached, according to Deadline, is with Siân Heder, the showrunner of the series already available on Apple TV + Little America and that he has also collaborated in the film CODA.
Siân Heder has reached a Priority agreement when choosing all the content you create, so that Apple will always have the first option to buy all the content that is currently in development as well as future projects in which Heder works, either as a producer, screenwriter or showrunner.
The next title related to this actress, screenwriter and writer is the movie CODA, a film whose Apple rights toacquired earlier this year at the Sundance Film Festival. CODA is written and directed by Siân Heder and will premiere on August 13 on Apple TV +. At the moment, Apple has not yet shown us any trailer for this movie.
Little America, the other series in which Siân Heder is related, it was renewed for a second season, although at the moment there is no scheduled date for its premiere. In fact, it seems that the filming of this second season has not started yet.
Heder has previously collaborated on successful series like The Path for Hulu, Orange is the New Black for Netflix and on film Tallulah, his first feature film that premiered in 2016.
