Apple TV + saw a 33% user increase this weekend thanks to the film Palmer

Palmer

The Apple TV + bet is mainly made up of series and movies, although there is also room for documentaries and content for the little ones in the house. If we talk about movies, we have to talk about the latest release of Apple TV +: Palmer, a movie starring Justin Timberlake.

This film, which premiered on January 29, was the main reason why the Apple TV + audience increased by 33% compared to the usual average of viewers, according to the boys of Variety, a film that has an average score of 75 out of 100 on Rotten Tomatoes.

But, not only has the launch of Palmer contributed to the increase in the audience of Apple TV + during this past weekend, since the new episodes of the series Servant and Dickinson, they have also been an important incentive for users of this platform, in addition to the recently released Israeli series Losing Alice.

After 12 years in jail, Eddie Palmer, a former high school football star, returns home to rebuild his life and creates an unexpected bond with Sam, an outcast boy from a troubled home. But Eddie's past threatens to ruin his new life and family.

Besides Justin Timberlake (Eddie), in the film Palmer we also find Juno Temple, Alisha Wainwright, June Squibb and Ryder Allen (Allen). The script is written by Cheryl Guerriero and directed by Fisher Stevens, winner of an Oscar from the Hollywood Academy for the documentary The Cove.

Upcoming releases on Apple TV +
