One of the novelties that Apple at the time presented with the new Apple TV and its tvOS system was the possibility that existed to interact with it through the Siri voice assistant. However, this mode of operation was limited and has not been until the last update of the tvOS system that Apple has given more prominence to our beloved Siri in it.

Now we can use, fully, the universal search system, a system that allows searches not only in the system itself but also in the programming of the channels that Apple is making compatible.

Of course, the first thing that was made compatible with this search system was the Apple TV application store as well as Apple's movie rental and sale system. Later, with the update of tvOS came the inclusion of this type of search in Apple's music streaming service, Apple Music and today it is published that the CBS channel already supports this universal search service.

From now on, users will be able to search CBS for specific topics from shows like the Big Bang or NCIS, all using Siri. With this inclusion, the number of services that make use of the universal search system now reaches 16, an already considerable figure if we take into account that the system began with only 5 affiliates and later, Since last February, Apple has added to FOX NOW, FX NOW, National Geographic, PBS and PBS Kids, among others.
