The continuous improvement of each and every one of the services that Apple has available to its consumers now offers a new chapter. As a novelty, Apple TV brings us this week an update to its search between applications. From yesterday, we can search for content from Nickelodeon and Spike in the default search engine of our Apple TV.
As an indispensable requirement, Apple TV must be 4th generation, and be updated to the latest version. Additionally, Apple is improving TV app support for iOS devices.
Despite the universal search results, on Apple TV we can search and identify those applications installed on it, and even the content that each application offers based on the search performed.
These new built-in applications join the already compatible ones Hulu, HBO Now or Cartoon Network, among 56 different services or applications. Although most of them currently only work in the United StatesIt is very likely that little by little this year we will begin to see this characteristic in the rest of the countries, or at least in a select group of them.
The interface offers centralized management for movies and TV shows, uniting the different built-in services. This can also help us discover new material and even new apps to try.
We can't wait to try this smart search that's just getting better. We must bear in mind, that due to problems with content and rights, Apple has not extended this service much. In fact, Behind the United States, the country with the most services available is Australia, with only 8 of them.
