We had been several months without news about new collaboration agreements between Apple and other production companies, first-look deals. This type of agreement makes Apple the first company to have the option of choosing which new content to be created with. If Apple is not interested, the production company will continue with the round of contacts to offer its content to other companies.
The latest agreement reached by Apple's streaming video platform is found in the Meadowlark production company, a production company that was created at the beginning of this year by the former ESPN director John Skipper and Dan Le Batard who was working for ESPN Radio and a regular contributor to sports programs.
Taking into account where the owners of this production company have previously worked, it is evident that much of the content will revolve around sports, at least for the most part.

In January, Skipper and Le Batard announced the formation of Meadowlark, a new content company with a different point of view than usual. Meadowlark will partner with industry leading storytellers on a variety of content projects with an initial focus on sports. More sports content
Memory does not fail me, the only sports content available on Apple TV + is the Ted Lasso series, if we can consider it as sports content. Currently, on Apple TV + we have at our disposal a wide variety of social documentaries of nature, travel… Plus a variety of talk shows like those hosted by Oprah Winfrey and John Stewart.
