In this last week, many have been Apple series have received nominations to the different contests that will be held in the coming months, with Ted Lasso being the series that has received the most nominations to date. To the aforementioned nominations, we have to add four more.
Apple's streaming video service has received 4 AARP Award nominations 2020 Best Movies for Adults, featuring TV series and movies that feature actors over 50 or that attract an audience that is close to that age group.
These awards promote movies made for and for adults hoping to fight age discrimination in the industry by encouraging the production of films that resonate with older viewers.
The films and series nominated for the ARRP 2020 awards are:
- On the Rocks as Best Intergenerational Film
- Bill Murray for On the Rocks for Best Supporting Actor
- Ted lasso, as Best series
- Jennifer Aniston for The Morning Show for Best Actress in a Television Series
These awards will air on the PBS channel on the Great Performances program on March 28.

So far, the content available on Apple TV + has received nominations for the SAG awards (2 nominations for the series Ted lasso Best Actor and Best Comedy Actor for Jason Sudeikis), two nominations for the Golden Globes (again for Ted lasso for Best Comedy Series and Jason Sudeikis for Best Comedy Actor) and 11 nominations for NAACP awards Image (for the film The Banker, Litte America, Little Voice, Central Park and Conversations with Oprah.
