As revealed by our partner Jordi in the past week, Apple will open a store in Seoul this January 27, Apple's first physical presence in South Korea, where a grand opening will be held as is customary for company premieres of this type.
The Cupertino-based technology company, today sent a press release informing of the grand opening and sharing new images of what will be a new Apple headquarters, this time in the Asian country.
As we can see in the images, which have no waste, the store, very much like Apple, how could it be otherwise, follows a careful design used in the rest of the homonyms scattered around the world. With large spaces for sessions, workshops and client meetings, as well as an impressive 6K video wall on the main wall. In addition, Apple reports that, in total, the members of the new store team speak more than 15 languages together.
In this press release, Angela Ahrendts, Vice President of Sales and Retails, and in charge of all Apple Stores around the globe, spoke about how glad she is to finally have a physical presence in Seoul:
“We are delighted to open a new home for our clients in the vibrant city of Seoul, and we hope to continue growing in Korea. Our stores are community gathering places where everyone can connect, learn and create. "
The new store, which will open its doors next Saturday, January 27, is located in the exclusive commercial district of "Garosugil", and it is so important for being the first Apple store in the Asian country. In addition, Apple sets up a store in the hometown of its main competitor, Samsung.
