Apple updates GarageBand, iMovie, and iWork bundle apps on macOS

After the launch of all Apple hardware between now and the end of the year, Apple is updating the main macOS support applications, so that the behavior is optimal on each of its computers.

That is why in the last hours we have received updates, both of the office applications of the package iWork: Pages, Numbers, and Keynote, as well as GarageBand and iMovie. The update mainly focuses on the typical stability and performance improvements, although a graphic update or the incorporation of new templates is not ruled out.

The only additional information we can find can be read in the Pages notes. Now it is possible from Pages publish your books directly to the Apple book store without having to export content to iBooks Author.

As for iMovie for Mac, we lose the ability to export files directly to Facebook. Relations between Apple and Facebook have cooled and collaboration is no longer as seamless. Now, if you want to embed the video on Facebook, you have the option to "Prepare for Facebook", but the upload you have to do from the Facebook service, without iMovie and Facebook being connected. We do not see any more significant changes in iMovie, when Adobe has released a month ago now, a simple video editor, which will rival iMovie.

Nothing is known about the applications for professionals in the audiovisual sector of Apple, as they are Logic Pro and Final Cut Pro X. It is likely that they are applications so optimized for Macs that Apple plans to fix the small errors that may arise, with a more important update, as well as new functions.

These Apple applications can be download completely free from the Mac Apple Store and access all updates. The most recent version of Pages is 7.3, in the case of Number it is 5.3, Keynote is somewhat more advanced with version 8.3 and iMovie version 10.1.10. Curiously, in the Spanish Mac App Store, the most recent version of GarageBand does not appear yet, but it should appear in the next few hours.
