Apple just released an update for the iWork suite on OS X and is doing the same for users on iOS. Last October 16 Apple updated the office suite of applications after a long time Pages, Numbers, and Keynote.
Now after almost a month since that long-awaited update that gave a little hope to users who resist using Microsoft's suite, another update arrives in which the typical bug fixes are added and also some incompatibility problems with precisely some of the documents of Microsoft Office.
These are the improvements of the applications in this Version 5.6.1 of Pages for Mac:
- Fixed an issue that prevented some Microsoft Word documents from opening
- Fixes an issue that sometimes prevented the use of the Find function with words that were part of lists
- Correction of other errors
- Stability and performance improvements
Now we go with the improvements implemented in the Keynote version 6.6.1 for Mac:
- Fix an issue affecting presentations that contained links on master slides
- Troubleshooting the export of presentations as images
- Correction of other errors
- Stability and performance improvements
And finally the Numbers for Mac version 3.6.1 adds the following improvements:
- Fixed an issue that prevented some Microsoft Excel spreadsheets from opening
- Correction of other errors
- Stability and performance improvements
Updates are always welcome and this time it is a new version for each of the applications that improves iWork performance and functionality on Mac and iOS.
I think it's fine to correct those errors ... but when will we see a makeover? They do not refresh the appearance ... years with the same!
