The guys from Cupertino have earned the reputation of being one of the most environmentally conscious companies. In fact we could say that it is the company most concerned not only about recycling its products, once its useful life cycle has passed, but from a time to be part it is adopting renewable energy in all its facilities, creating a large number of solar plants that provide energy not only to its facilities, but also offer enough electricity to sell to third parties.

Apple's recycling program allows for the responsible dismantling of any iPhone, iPad, iPod and Mac. The Apple Watch has just been added to this list, a device that has taken a year and a half to get on the bandwagon of sustainable recycling devices. with the environment. The devices that are sent directly to recycling centers, located in China, are usually the ones that users who deliver when users rthey replace your device by handing over the old one, well to get a small discount (especially when the device is too old) as happens with the iPhone, or simply because they do not want to keep it at home and prefer that Apple manage their recycling.

At the moment the Apple Watch recycling program is only available in the United States, but in time it should reach Europe. At the moment the first generation Apple Watch is still a device that is the order of the day, especially after the arrival of watchOS 3, so it is very unlikely that a user will enter his Apple smartwatch when renewing it by one of the new models, unless it had stopped working, due to some problem that was not covered by the guarantee, since the first model has not yet been on the market for two years.
