After several weeks of hiatus, the guys from Cupertino seem to have got back to work to expand the number of countries where users can use Apple Pay. Since yesterday Ireland has joined the select club of countries where this payment technology is available. Germany, Italy and Taiwan will follow soon. Currently Apple Pay is currently available in 14 countries, although in the latter countries the number of supported banks is very small. However, in the United States the number of banks and credit institutions continues to increase.
But not only the United States has seen how the number of banks compatible with Apple Pay has expanded, but Japan, one of the last countries where Apple Pay arrived, has just announced 8 new banks and credit institutions compatible with this Apple electronic payment technology.
