Apple will present a new application for Apple TV today

There are just a few hours left for Apple to start a new Keynote, a Keynote that will be focused on the new Macs that, by active and passive, we have already commented on many articles. However, all that Apple has prepared for this afternoon may not focus solely on the Mac and there are rumors that they could introduce a new application for the fourth generation Apple TV.

It would be an application that would help the user to interact with the content of the device in a much simpler way, that is, it would be a kind of application with which to discover multimedia content within the Apple TV not only locally but in third-party services.

As we have anticipated, it is possible that Apple will present this afternoon a new application whose mission would be to make life easier for users in the task of searching for content and it is that with this new application we would not have to be entering the specific applications of the services that we have contracted with other companies, leaving all the content indexed and included in this new application.

Now, we cannot trust ourselves too much and it is that services such as Netflix are an example of a company that has not come into play when creating this new application. All this points to the fact that as this new application becomes known It will be when the different content streaming services will be added or not.

What is clear is that Apple wants navigation with the fourth generation Apple TV to be as simple and intuitive as possible. Once again, we remember that Tim Cook himself claimed long ago that the television revolution is about apps.
