One of the most legendary Apple stores in the world is the one located in the Soho neighborhood of New York. For many years it has been around giving service to everyone who has needed it. Now it has been decided that it is time to renew it. The changes will incorporate in the store a new space for creativity but at the same time, We will have to say goodbye to one of the most iconic parts of the store and the residents of New York.
We will have to say goodbye to the famous theater that the store has. In its favor, it must be said that it will have a forum where future events related to Today at Apple. In fact, the famous Apple theaters will only be left with two Apple Stores: Apple Ginza and Shinsaibashi in Japan. A loss that will be missed, but of course the new that is to come will be much better.
The new forum will offer modular seating, an improved audio system with Hearing Loop, and a significantly larger and brighter LED Video Wall compared to the store's previous projection screen. Soho upgrades will also replace New York City's first Apple Store meeting room with a redesigned boardroom for business clients and event guests.
The renovations have already started, on September 1, and right now we find a store under construction where, yes, the famous glass staircase will be respected. It is not known when the completion of the works will occur, and right now the store is under minimum. Between the global pandemic and the renewal, there is no room for sales but there is room for other needs.
