An application that we find in the Mac App store to make our own icons and that we advertise in our account Twitter recently for being totally free, it is Applicons. Currently we can no longer obtain it for free But if you want to create your own icons for applications quickly and easily, this may be a good application for it.
It has everything you need to create your own icons Without having to worry much about how to do it, it is really easy to use, we just have to have the image that we want to transform into an icon and drag it to the window where it will be automatically converted.
Is an application focused for OS X and iOS application developers and it is that with this tool we will obtain our own icon in all possible measures. It also allows us to choose if we want the corners to be rounded or if we want to add a reflection to the top of the icon.
The interface of this application is simple and careful, added to the ease of use, make it an alternative to consider. We just have to install it and when opening it press File> New en the top menu bar of our Mac and start creating our own icon.
The application itself automatically resizes the image that we want to use in the case that it is too big or small, this can be a small problem with some image since it can deform it.
We can also create a folder with the entire set of icons and their different measurements or just a single icon per image. The application is iCloud compatible, so we can save our icons in the cloud in a really simple way.
