Arturo Castro has just become the new signing of Apple TV +. This comedy actor, mainly but also with more serious roles (as in Narcos for example), will join the Mr Corman series of the division of the American streaming multimedia content company.
This Guatemalan-born actor will join the other greats who are right now filming the stories that the Mr Corman series will be about and of which we still do not know the release date.
Mr Corman welcomes Arturo Castro with open arms
It has been known that the actor born in 1985 and that has participated in the Broad series City on Comedy Central, and on Netflix Narcos, will be part of the cast of artists of the series that is producing Apple TV + and which will be titled Mr Corman.
This series, announced in September 2019, will count the San Fernando Valley Elementary Teacher Josh Corman Story. Unfortunately few details about the history of the series have been revealed so far. Castro will play the character who is known as Victor and will be Josh's roommate and friend.
This new series in development has been written, directed and produced by Gordon-Levitt, with A24 producing the project. Bruce Eric Kaplan will serve as showrunner, as well as executive producer, with Ravi Nandan, Nathan Reinhart and Inman Young also credited as executive producers and Meg A. Schave as producer.
As we have already told you, we still do not know the date of the premiere, but Let's hope Apple doesn't take too long to release the first trailer, as it has done previously with other series, to taste, even a little, how this new production will be.
Let's hope that this new series, Mr Corman, will give a boost to Apple's streaming service and that Let's start enjoying new content on a regular basis.
