Another aspect where Audio Hijack stands out is in the simplicity of function for streaming audio. You just have to add the Broadcast module and the application will transmit it to your server in MP3 or ACC format. The supported servers will be Shoutcast 2, Shoutcast 1 and Icecast 2 for streaming audio.
For those using AAC, Audio Hijack will be able to use adaptive bit rate, using HE-AAC at the time it is available. Another available function is to be able to inform listeners which song is currently playing.
Don't worry about the audio quality we are transmitting, because has multicast. This allows adapting the audio quality to each user, being able to reproduce in high, medium or low quality. It also allows you to choose the audio format you want to listen to, as long as your player allows it.
