Automatically activates Dark Mode activation

Apple added in OS X Yosemite the Dark Mode for all those users who want to activate it and previously it could be activated through a command line in the terminal to temporarily darken the top menu bar and the dock. This option that we all think is really good but needs to be polished a lot so that when we open a window in Safari, for example, it also appears in black, it already has a third-party option that allows activate or deactivate this mode automatically.

We can think that the logical thing is that the guys from Cupertino would have thought about it and future updates of the final version of OS X Yosemite or who knows if they will add it in any beta that is yet to come, but for now we can count on third party apps to carry out this function.

One of these applications that we can use is L and although it is not available in the Mac App Store at the moment, find on its website and download it totally free. This option to automate the Dark mode function is really simple to configure since it only has two boxes in which we have to put the start and end time of this mode and it alone will activate and deactivate it.

Now there is talk that other applications have taken the idea of automating this function and will add the option in the future, such as F.lux. Little by little this new OS X Yosemite is integrating between us and every day that passes the developers turn more to the operating system that is expected to have more downloads due to the greater possibilities of synchronization with another Apple operating system: iOS.
