On July 23, we published an article in which we stated that the new Apple Store in Thailand, located in Bankok, would open its doors on July 25. However, that date arrived and Apple remained closed. A few hours ago, Apple confirmed through a press release that the spectacular new Apple Store will open on July 31.
In the same press release, Apple has added different images of its interior, and exterior, so that we can get an idea of what the inhabitants of the city will find from July 31. This store, baptized as Apple Central World, is located in the heart of the city and it becomes the second Apple Store available in the country.
In the press release we can read:
Apple World Central's distinctive architecture is brought to life with the first all-glass design, housed under a cantilevered treetop roof. Once inside, clients can travel between two levels via a spiral staircase that wraps around a wooden core, or by riding a unique cylindrical elevator clad in mirror-polished stainless steel.
Guests can enter from the lower or upper level, providing a direct connection to the Skytrain and the city's largest shopping center. The open-air plaza provides a place for the community to gather, with benches and large Terminalia trees surrounding the space.
Next July 31 at 10 in the morning (local time) the 130 employees hired (who speak 17 languages), will welcome all customers to visit. According to Apple, and as expected, the store will adopt the necessary health and safety measures, so that all visitors will have to undergo a temperature control, use a mask and maintain social distancing.
