La with the BBC today launched its official application called 'BBC iPlayer' For the fourth generation of Apple TV in the UK, it is the first time that the public service broadcaster has launched an app for the new cable box for the Apple Store. Hardware is likely to be faster than its predecessor, and a fully dedicated app store for Apple TV played a key role in making the BBC 'BBC iPlayer' app for the Apple TV 4.
With the use of the application you will be able to enjoy live videos (streaming) of the BBC, BBC Two, BBC Three, BBC Four and other channels. For now the 'BBC iPlayer' app only is available for tvOS from the App Store United Kingdom.
Apple had launched the fourth generation Apple TV along with the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus in the 'Hey Siri' keynote this past September. The latest streaming device is significantly more powerful than its predecessors, featuring 2 GB of RAM, count with one dedicated operating system tvOS, and Own App Store. Our colleague Pedro Rodas made us a spectacular unboxing of the new Apple TV, and you can read it in this link so you can see all the features.
Personally, I think that an Apple television service, with all the obstacles and the little consensus of grouping all the television networks, or at least the most important, I do not think it will arrive, for that reason I think that the BBC has released released this app. Can you imagine an application of Antena 3, Mega or La Sexta in an application?. Do you think such an application would make sense?.
