The new Apple TV model continues to advance in terms of to the operating system as does iOS 9. Just yesterday the developers already had tvOS beta 2 available and there are few changes to it except bug fixes and fixes of some problems from the previous beta.
Obviously Apple will continue to launch new beta versions until the device is released this coming month and it will already be updated with the latest version available, but in the meantime developers who have a model before it goes on sale already have the beta 2 with build 13T5365h to perform the necessary tests.
