macOS High Sierra public beta, malware on Mac, MacBook Pro battery failure and much more. The best of the week in Soy de Mac

We are on the 30th and therefore only one day from ending this hot month of July that has given so much news to Apple fans. This week is key for many of those present since the summer holidays begin and end for others.

Today ends a week full of news related to the Apple world and some of them important such as the celebration of the 11 years since the launch of the wireless Mighty Mouse or the arrival of the new beta versions for developers and users of the macOS High Sierra public beta.

A good handful of news of which we will add to this short list as the best of the week. We started as it cannot be otherwise with the new macOS High Sierra beta for users who do not have an official developer account but are subscribed to the public beta program.

Another of the outstanding news of this week has undoubtedly been that of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson collaborating with Apple to make a movie with Siri. This news is one of those that have circulated on social networks like wildfire with opinions of all kinds.

The next piece of news we want to share is that of an old malware circulating on the net for years and that has already been neutralized by Apple. This type of malware is not a cause for concern but if it puts us on alert when we have to surf or download something from the net.

Finally we focus on the change of some MacBook Pro that have battery problems. If you have first or second generation MacBook Pro retina, that is, 2012 and early 2013 MBPs and the battery is starting to show signs of weakness, it is possible that Apple replace your Mac with a newer model.

To enjoy Sunday and holidays for those who have them.
