Now that we have the macOS High Sierra public beta, let's see the list of compatible devices

This is one of those lists that are easy to explain since we can say that the changes implemented in this new version of macOS High Sierra the operating system has matured As for its stability and reliability, it also adds improvements in file management and overall consumption is improved.

We have already said on previous occasions that we do not have major changes in terms of functions, tools or applications, but we do offer a firm update of an OS that already works very well today. That is why we say at the beginning that the list of Mac compatible with macOS High Sierra is easy to explain since all those compatible with macOS Sierra can be updated to this new version.

The definitive list that we have already seen in the presentation of the new Mac operating system looks like this:

  • Todos los iMac de finales de 2009 y posteriores
  • Los MacBook Air del 2010 y posteriores
  • Los nuevos MacBook de finales de 2009 hasta los actuales
  • Mac mini 2010 and later
  • All MacBook Pros 2010 and later
  • Mac Pro 2010 onwards

In this list we see how important it is to have an Apple team in terms of updates since they receive official support for a long time. Several teams from the end of 2009 to the current ones is a really long time in which we can enjoy the Macs and some of the novelties that are implemented in the system, in addition to many improvements that are added in macOS favor older teams same as the most modern. We have republished the list of Mac computers compatible with this version by the recent release of macOS High Sierra public beta.

When I try to open the file for MacOsierra higt installation on MacBook Air mid-2011 with Sierra installed, I get a warning: “recovery file is damaged”.
It actually leaves me without arguments and puzzled since I don't know what you mean.

    Hello Salomon,
Seems like a bug in the beta installation, please try to download the installer again.

    regards

    I keep getting three errors:
-The system is warmer than in the latest versions.
-When the lid is closed, to rest and then the lid is lifted, the system remains hanging.
The brightness does not remain as we leave it when we turn off When we turn on the computer, do we have to regulate it again?

      For parts jj9674,

does the system heat up? I imagine you mean the Mac, but come on, I don't notice excess temperature either. It depends a lot on how you use the equipment.

The opening and closing thing is strange that it hangs since it is not a problem that is discussed in specialized forums, did you install it clean? in a partition? it should not fail.

Do you have brightness in car or manual? if you have it in your car it could be that it fits at the time of opening. We have not read complaints about this either, but keep in mind that it is a beta and may have bugs.

      a greeting and tell us!
