It is a simple and very complete application in terms of the interface, which it will allow us to amplify the audio of our Mac. If you are one of those users who thinks that their Mac sounds lazy and wants to amplify the sound, this is an essential application for you.
Boom 2 was updated a few days ago with some interesting improvements and bug fixes, so we wanted to share with you this app that we find interesting above all for those users who are more demanding with Mac audio.
One of the main features of Boom 2 is that the audio volume can be adjusted directly from the icon that appears in the upper menu bar, from this we will be able to increase or decrease the volume. What's more we have an equalizer once we directly access the app that will allow us to adjust the audio a little more to our liking. Another novelty implemented in version 1.4.1 is that it has a shortcut that directly opens the main window of the app.
It also has the universal application for iOS, Boom 2 Remote, totally free with which we will be able to modify the volume from our iOS device. On the other hand, it must also be said that this application is not free (in January they increased the price) and now it costs 19,99 euros. Although it is true it may seem somewhat expensive, it is worth every one of the pennies.
I have it installed in my 27 ″ iMac (2015) and it amplifies the Beats speakers a lot and improves the sound a lot but on a 21 ″ iMac (2014) it makes a horrible noise and no matter how much I install and uninstall and reinstall, try other speakers… there is no way it sounds good so I don't know whether to recommend it or not.
Oysters Manuel that I miss! Let's see if someone who has the app installed on an iMac 21 from 2014 confirms if they have problems. I in the iMac of 27 of 2012 very happy with it.
Greetings and thanks for the contribution 😉
I have been with it installed for 1 year and in the iMac 21 I reinstalled El Capitan from scratch again without restoring the copy of TimeMachine, I restarted the PRAM and it fails anyway, it makes a horrible noise but through Bluetooth, with the internal speakers of the iMac yes It goes very well.
Does anyone know if there is an app for the opposite? I want to regulate the volume from the keyboard in smaller intervals between XNUMX and the first volume point. I know it can be done by hitting ctrl + shift + vol. But it is such a key roll. I was looking for something simpler. Thanks a lot.

To adjust the volume I better use this TIP 🙂 we will look at the app that the partner says for an article to see if it works
regards
It's free for iOS if you've already bought it for Mac. Very expensive.
Goes luxury
I would not recommend these apps ... One that did the same on my iPod Touch (with JailBreak) left my speaker useless, it was not heard
It does not work for me from the beginning co sierra
