Since then, we have not heard from this series againFortunately, we have to get back to this actress.

According to the publication Variety, Brie Larson has reached an agreement to star in the series Lessons in Chemistry, a drama set in the 60s. According to this same medium, the series will premiere on Apple TV + in the first of next year.

Larson will play the role of Elizabeth Zott, a young woman whose dream of being a scientist is slowed by gender stereotypes of the 60s.

Set in the early 1960s, "Lessons in Chemistry" follows Elizabeth Zott (Larson), whose dream of being a scientist is put on hold in a society that sees women as belonging to the domestic sphere, not the professional sphere. .

When Elizabeth finds herself pregnant, alone, and fired from her lab, she wields the ingenuity that only a single mother has. She takes a job hosting a television cooking show and sets out to teach a nation of forgotten housewives - and the men who suddenly listen to her - much more than recipes, as she yearns to return to her true love: science.

This series is based on the Bonnie Garmus novel of the same name. Both the script and the production are handled by the Oscar nominee of the Hollywood Academy Susannah Grant.

The executive producers will be, in addition to Brie Larson, Jason Bateman and Michael Costigan. Larson, before starring in the movie Captain Marvel, won an Oscar from the Hollywood Amademic for the film Room (The room) in 2015, in addition to a Golden Globe for the same interpretation.
