Any follower and user of the Cupertino-based company is well aware of Apple's environmental preferences when it comes to supplying both its offices, data centers and lately the factories in which they manufacture and assemble their devices. In fact, such is the number of solar panels and fields that the company has assembled that last June, Apple requested the necessary permits to be able to sell the excess energy produced by these fields and that they are not served by the different facilities of the company. Permission that logically obtained and is currently selling the excess energy from its fields at market prices.
However solar fields have their problems and one of them is the risk of fire, as well as how they affect the birds in the areaBirds that according to the orientation of the plates can die burned by the reflections produced by this type of plates, as happened a few days ago in China, where in just a few hours, more than 130 birds died in the area where the solar panels were entered.
Apple's Austin campus has had to be evicted due to the fire that has occurred in several solar panels located in the upper part of the building. These solar panels are responsible for supplying the company with all the energy necessary for its facilities to function. Firefighters have quickly gone to the offices located at 550 West Parmer Lane to put out the fire and find out the causes that have caused it.
These facilities are barely two years old and are used by the Apple company to focus all operations carried out on American territory, where they are mainly administrative and some engineers to offer technical support. Within minutes of the fire being controlled and put out, the employees returned to the offices once it had been verified that the fire damage had not affected the building structure.
