Capture, edit and share your images easily with Annotate

When sharing information, depending on the type they are, A picture is worth a thousand words. It is not the same to send an email trying to explain which elements of an image or a document have to be changed or edited, than to send a screenshot of it directly, where we explain what needs to be changed or modified.

Although it is true, that through a screenshot generated natively with macOS and with the Preview application, we can share this type of informationDepending on the user's expertise, this process may take us longer than we can spend on that task. Fortunately, we can choose to make use of an application that allows us to carry out all this process in a much faster way: Annotate - Capture and Share.

Annotate not only allows us to take screenshots to edit them later, but also allows us to create video clips of up to 10 seconds to later share them in GIF format. Once we have made the capture, from the application itself we can add text, lines, arrows, rectangles, ovals, emojis ... so that we can highlight which are the elements of the capture that we want to modify or if we simply want to send some annotations.

Thanks to the keyboard shortcuts offered by the application, we can quickly start adding text or any other element to the image before sharing it through the different applications that we have installed on our Mac. Annotate - Capture and Share, has a usual price in the Mac App Store of 4,39 euros, but for a limited time, we can download it through the link that you left at the end of this article.

This app was last updated a year ago, but it is fully compatible with macOS High Sierra, the latest version of macOS currently available on the market. Requires OS X 10.10 or later along with a 64-bit processor. The application only occupies a little less than 4 Mb, on our hard drive, so space will not be a problem when enjoying this application.
