Apple has published a open casting through Cult of Mac to create television show original called «Planet of Apps», an unscripted program dedicated to applications and the people who develop them.
During the production process, the team is looking for developers of San Francisco, Austin, New York and Los Angeles who are interested in participating in this experience. Participation will be limited to 100 developers. Applications submitted must be for iOS, MacOS, TVOS, or watchOS and be in a functional state or beta toBefore October 21

Executive producers will.i.am, Ben Silverman and Howard Owens have come together for an unscripted series about the world of apps and the talented people who drive innovation. They are looking for developers with a vision to shape the future, solve real problems, and inspire change within our everyday lives. «We can truly tell their stories as we explore how apps are developed, created, and hatched.»Says Silverman.
Developers will be able to present multiple applications and work with various development teams, with a maximum term of until August 26 2016 to apply for admission. Filming will take place in Los Angeles in late 2016 and early 2017.
This television initiative Apple's television programming will not only focus on the development of applications for the Apple environment, but will also include "Vital signs", a show starring Apple's co-founder and executive Dr. Dre. which will help promote the Apple Music platform.
Ultimately, these two television shows will be a big boost to the App Store, the fundamental engine of all Apple devices, through the promotion of Apps for its four operating systems and Apple Music.
