It's been a while since we've had the new one among us Apple MacBookA laptop with an exquisite design, although the power of its processor is not all that was expected. In addition, it is the first laptop from the apple company that has a single USB-C port through which it is recharged in addition to being able to connect the adapters that provide us with the port we need in each case.

The MacBook comes standard, of course, its USB-C to USB-C cable to connect it to its own 29-watt charger that makes charging relatively fast. However, from the outset, different manufacturers began to put batteries on the market with the idea that they could recharge the device.

The first attempts were simply to connect existing batteries via conversational cables from the battery output port to the laptop's USB-C port. These quick and easy adaptations have resulted in high heating of the USB-C port of the computer, which could cause damage in the same at the same time that this type of batteries have only been able to conserve the energy that the battery has and in no case recharge it.

The new MacBook, having a power request of 29 watts, cannot use any type of charger or external battery and that is why we want to show you the Hyper project. It is not the first time that we have talked about Hyper and it is that they have a whole arsenal of external battery modules for the laptops that Apple currently had on the market. Now they come up with a new product that they have called Magic Box HyperJuice.

This device is going to be available in two variants. The MagicBox is an adapter that allows the 12-inch MacBook Retina to be charged at full 29W speed using HyperJuice batteries or up to 12W using batteries from other manufacturers via USB.

We have talked about two devices, the first is an adapter cable called MagicBox that converts the direct current (DC) output of HyperJuice batteries to a USB-C connection using an integrated circuit that allows fast charging at 29 watts of the computer.

The second option is the 12w MagicBox which consists of a USB to USB-C adapter.

The two possibilities are yet to be built but it is already available in Indiegogo the campaign to collect what is necessary to start production.  On the page you can see the different prices of the pack on offer for advance purchase.
