Today Apple has released a small complementary update for the public beta of OS X El Capitan through the Mac App Store and that would come to correct a problem whereby it may be the case that some 32-bit applications quit unexpectedly.
If you've been experiencing issues with an app randomly crashing with the beta version of OS X El Capitan already installed, this patch can solve this kind of problem, always assuming that these problems have to do with native 32 bit applications.
In any case, it is normal to expect that the premature state of OS X El Capitan still has this type of bugs and random bugs since there is still much to improve even more stable versions.
On the other hand, if you have already installed the patch, you will have seen how it requires a system restart where once done, we will see how the build has become 15A216g which is exactly the same as the third beta that developers already enjoy.
As I have already mentioned, the update Supplemental is available for preview that was launched from OS X El Capitan publicly and it is not applicable to the OS X 10,11 developer beta, which apparently did not have this bug problem with 32-bit applications.
Even though the update has a small size, it is still a good idea to back up your Mac before installing the update.
