Squeeze out multitasking

The Slide Over feature on the iPad allows you to use one third of the screen to find and open another application, but it can only be used with one application at a time. Split Screen or Split View allows us to divide the screen in two and work with two applications simultaneously. With Picture-in-Picture on the iPad, we can continue to view a video in one of the corners of the screen while continuing to work within an application. For example, we may be viewing an Applelised tutorial that we were viewing in Safari in one of the corners while we are making annotations in Notes, Word, Pages, and so on. or checking our email.

Which iPad models are compatible with Multitasking

Next, we will see each of the functions multitask along with the iPad models they are compatible with. But to summarize, the iPad Air 2 or later and iPad Mini 4 can use all the multitasking functions. Whereas iPad Air and iPad Mini 2 or later can only use Slide Over and Picture-in-Picture.

The Slide Over function of the Multitask on iPad allows us to open a second application on the right margin of the screen using a third part of it. To activate and use Slider Over:

Swipe from the outside of the screen on the right side to the left and your previously open application will open.

To change applications, swipe down from the top in this part of the screen and all the applications that you have installed on your screen will be displayed. iPad and that they are compatible.
