The guys from Cupertino continue to open new Apple Stores around the world. On most occasions, when you have located it in shopping malls, Apple usually tries to find very frequented places of passage or important locations for citizens. The Apple Store in Puerta del Sol is a clear example of what I am talking about, but it is not the only one. During the last months, as we informed you, Apple has been focusing its efforts on Chicago, where it wanted to open a new Apple Store, along the Chicago River, in one of the busiest areas of the city, especially when it comes to walk and of course by tourists.
The works of the new Apple Store that will be located next to the Chicago River began a few weeks ago, as we can see in the image that heads these words. This Apple Store will follow the same path in terms of design, where trees and a giant screen will play a very important role in decorating it. This new store, which will be located at 401 Michigan Avenue and as usual, the works will take at least a year to finish, something that Apple has used to us in recent years.
This new and emblematic Apple Store will have a surface spread over two floors of 20.000 square feet, it will have direct views of the river, through its glass walls that will allow you to see the interior of the Apple Store from any point. In addition, at the top there will be a recreation area where you can have coffee, sit down to unload, take a walk ... and other requirements that the Chicago city council placed on Apple to allow it to create a new Apple Store in such an emblematic place.
