Tim Cook's journey through Europe continues: stop in Glasgow

After the visit in France to the App Store in Marseille and Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, hours ago he was seen in Germany. On that occasion, he met with the furniture makers of Dula, the developers of the Kitchen Stories app and the Refinery29 team.

As our partner Javier told us, Tim Cook received the meritorious award a few hours ago Professor Honoris Causa by the University of Glasgow. Attendees were able to attend a short interview during the ceremony, where the CEO of Apple rated the University of Glasgow as one of the best in Europe.

As expected, a special chapter of the interview were the decisions made in recent weeks by Donald Trump. Regarding the law to prevent the entry of emigrants from certain countries, Cook commented:

if we don't stand up and protest, we become part of this law

But this is not a political blog, and what interests us is the world of Apple and its Mac. In relation to his company, he indicated that they work in multiple sectors, including programming. Finally, he was asked by Steve Jobs.

Finally it was time to receive the title. Like every self-respecting American, Cook likes the show. Therefore, upon receiving the title, he made a small leap in triumph.

In the words of thanks, he had a moment to address the students. He told them they shouldn't just prepare to make money, because it is spent quickly or is never enough. He gave as an example, "love work or do work" he favors the former and it is advice that he has given to more than one young man.

Following the visit in Glasgow, we are unaware of the plans on Cook's agenda. It would be quite a surprise if it was seen in Spain in an Apple Store. Perhaps one of the most important technological visits in recent years in Spain.
