Apple watches continue to be the best sellers in the world and this is repeated over and over again by reports made by various analysts. In this case it is another report over Counterpoint Research, in which sales of the Apple device are estimated.
En this report the collected data is displayed and we can see that 4 out of 10 smartwatches sold worldwide during this last quarter of 2020 are those of Apple.
According to the report, Apple would have even increased its numbers, reaching close to 13 million watches sold, specifically in the report you can see the figure of 12,9 million units sold. The cheapest models of the Apple Watch launched have a lot to do with these figures and of course the new Apple Watch Series 6.
Apple does not offer official Apple Watch sales figures and logically these firms such as Counterpoint rely on shipments to make these statistics. It is interesting to see how The Apple Watch continues to add month after month higher and better sales figures although it is not Apple itself that shows the official results.
On the other hand, the option to use the Apple smart watch to unlock iPhones with Face ID, makes this device even more interesting to buy and these figures may continue to grow over the months. There are rumors about a new much better model for this 2021 so we do not believe that the watch will lose steam in sales and it is almost certain that it will continue to beat all its rivals.
