Within photography we can find different specializations, such as motion photography, night photography, sports photography, time lapse ... Each photographer usually specializes in one of these sections, although not exclusively. Time lapse photography is often used to see the progress of an object over time, whether it is an animated object (although in a very slow way) or an inanimate object that we must move.
These types of photographs always have the purpose of joining them later, to create a video that generally offers us impressive results, since it normally shows us movements that are slow in time that pass in just a few seconds, such as a storm of stars, the birth of a flower, the movement of the sun or the moon, the growth of the tides ... to give some examples .
Spending a large number of hours in front of the camera, even if the shutter is programmed in fixed time periods, it is not a comfortable situation, since we must be aware of the camera at all times in case something should fail at some point. But what is really simple, is to join all the photographs that we have captured to create a video of the whole, which shows us in fast motion, or the speed that we establish, the evolution of the object or objects in time.
