Customize the Safari toolbar

Another option in Safari in OS X Yosemite is the option to customize toolbar and doing it is very simple and fast. This can help us to access the options that we use the most on our Mac in a really fast and simple way without having to press the keyboard or mouse twice, as is usually the case: all with a single click.

Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), simplified or rather eliminated almost completely the toolbar in the new Safari 8.0 and this has good parts and bad parts, each user is a world and that is why we thank the guys from Cupertino for giving us the option to customize it to our liking. Without further ado, we will see how to add these options to the Safari toolbar.

We enter Safari and click with the right mouse button on the white space between the URL space and the accesses to the tools that come by default in Safari and the option appears Customize toolbar:

tools

We click on this option and we can now select the icon of the tool that we want to have fixed in the toolbar and we drag it to the blank space and drop:

tools-1

We already have the direct access fully visible and easily accessible located on the Safari toolbar for more productive access:

tools-3

The truth is that this possibility is something that many users do not know about Safari and I do not remember if this option was available in previous versions of Safari (you can tell me if it was or not) but it is interesting to speed up our tasks. If for any reason you want to remove these shortcuts or any of them, You can do this by right-clicking again to open the Customize toolbar option and dragging the icon to the preferences window.
