A few months ago, I published an article focused on all of us who lived in the 80s and 90s, where most of the games that hit the market were graphic adventures. Although the Monkey Island saga, along with Indiana Jones and The Fate of Atlantis, they were the best known, these titles have not been remastered.
However, other titles that also came for that epic and from the same creator as the LucasArts titles if they have had the opportunity to be revised and remastered correctly as is the case with Day of the Tentacle, Grim Fandango and Full Throttle. These three titles, in their remastered version with Broken Age, are available for download free of charge for a limited time.
Day of the Tentacle Remastered
Bernard, Hoagie and Laverne have to stop the Purple Tentacle (created by mad scientist Dr. Fred Edison) from taking over the world. How? Traveling through time to avoid the villain on duty, he becomes super smart.
Grim Fandango Remastered
Manny Calavera is the protagonist of this story, a skull who works as a travel agent in the Department of Death who wants to become more than just a commercial.
Full throttle remastered
Full Throttle puts us in the shoes of Ben Throttle, the leader of a motorcycle gang called Polecats and who is involved in a plot of deaths and, of course, motorcycles.
Broken Age Remastered
This is the most modern title of the four that are available for download and it was also created by Tim Schafer and Dave Grossman, two of the makers of many of the LucasArts titles.
We do not know how long they will be available for free download, so you should not take long to take advantage of this offer if you want save the 14,99 euros that each of these titles usually cost, titles that were recently updated to be compatible with macOS Catalina.
