Disconnect 2 improves blocking of those who spy on your steps on the internet

Originally created by former Google employees, it has been improved until it reaches its second version, which is why Disconnect has been and is a very effective plug-in to safeguard your privacy from prying eyes when sailing over the network so that no one can track your activity. Nowadays it is very fashionable to spy on the user in their browsing habits, the pages they see, the social networks to which they are subscribed or the purchases they make to later subtly overwhelm with advertising "made to measure" so this plugin is very useful.

Disconnect installation is very simple, just a simple double-click and it will automatically install itself to block all those unwanted connections. Depending on your browser, it will also inform you through connection and blocking statistics who are behind it, the first version being available for download in Safari without this feature and version 2 for Chrome and Firefox, with all the news included.

The most important features of Disconnect 2 are,

  • Disable tracking by third parties such as Digg, Facebook, Google, Twitter and Yahoo, without the need to configure absolutely anything or degrade the performance of the browser.
  • Depersonalize the searches carried out with search engines such as Google and Yahoo (by blocking identification cookies that only change the appearance of the results pages without modifying the content), meanwhile you can remain connected to other services. An example would be searching anonymously for any entry with Google and having access to iGoogle at the same time.
  • See the number of requests that are blocked, the resources used and the cookies in real time.
  • Easily unblock the services that we want by clicking on the Disconnect bar button and clicking on the specific service, for example to be able to play a Facebook game that needs said unblocking to function correctly.

As I have already mentioned, I think that it is highly recommended to download it more than anything to save the little bit of privacy that we have left in the network, where it seems that the only thing that matters to the big ones is collecting data from their users without their knowledge.

I do not understand. Someone explain to me how google makes an antispyware program, everyone knowing that google itself is a spy? I wouldn't trust disconnect much. It is also not an opensource plugin, therefore, who can know what is blocking and what is not.
