Divide any large file into smaller ones for easier sharing

When it comes to sharing large files, it is common to find large files on the Internet that, with an adequate download speed and with a little patience, can be downloaded without problems. But if we can only share the document through our email, all servers offer us a limitation that prevents us from sending large files, so we have to share it in smaller files. To be able to divide a file into smaller ones, we can use different applications that allow us to compress the files by creating different volumes quickly and easily.

But depending on the type of file we want to share, compression is absolutely unnecessaryas we are not going to gain any advantage. In these cases, it is best to use an application called ZipSplit, an application that allows us to divide a file into smaller volumes, to be able to share it in a simpler way through email, since if we can share it through the cloud, the process of dividing into smaller files does not make much sense, but as I have commented dividing them into independent volumes is to send it by email which is where we find the limitation.

ZipSplit is an application that automatically takes care of dividing large files into smaller volumes according to the specifications that we have previously established indicating the maximum number of megabytes that each file must have. This application is available for download for free through the link that I leave at the end of this article. ZipSplit was updated a few days ago to be compatible with macOS High Sierra, requires macOS 10.7 or later, 64-bit processor, and is only available in English. The space required to install it is only 6 MB.
