The 2016 WWDC ticket lottery drawing has now ended

wwdc-2016

In case you weren't aware, the demand for tickets to attend Apple's WWDC 2016 is so high that those in Cupertino have been doing a raffle for a few years now and it is that despite developers who want to attend must pay high amounts for that ticket, paying does not guarantee a place.

The developers have had time to request places for the event. And today is the day that Apple has raffled the existing seats as a lottery.

As of Monday, April 25, Apple will begin to notify developers. Both developers who have obtained a place and those who have not had the same fate will be notified. Anyway if we look back we will remember that last year, despite the fact that in the first instance there were a multitude of developers who were left without a place, then Apple warned them that due to non-payment they were reassigning unpaid places.

The ticket lottery for WWDC began earlier this week, with a price per seat of $ 1.599. Apple has also awarded scholarships to 350 students around the world, of which it has also paid the transfer costs for 125 of those students who cannot afford it.

The Worldwide Developers Conference WWDC 2016 will be held in Moscone West, June 13-17, although the inaugural Keynote will be held at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium.

From Soy de Mac estamos deseando que llegue ya el mes de junio para poder ver e informar sobre todas las novedades que se presenten.
