Microsoft Office for Mac 2008 runs out of update support tomorrow Tuesday 9 of April of 2013.
"Support for Office for Mac 2008 will end April 9, 2013" said in a post Microsoft's Mac Business Unit (MacBU), a subsidiary of the firm's OS X development.
According to the company's support site, all versions of the 2008 suite will be retired tomorrow. Office for Mac 2008 was released on January 15, 2008.

"Microsoft will offer a minimum of 10 years of development and enterprise product support," the company says. MacBU recommends that customers running Microsoft Office for Mac 2008 migrate to Office 365, an online system that allows users to install Office for Mac Home and Small Business 2011 on up to five Macs. The consumer subscription plan, Office 365 Home Premium, costs $ 100 per year.
