Epic Games is not the hero expected in its crusade against Apple

We all already know that Epic Games maintains a crusade against Apple for commissions in the App Store. In fact, Apple has withdrawn the versions of the Fortnite game, until the dispute is resolved in court. There have even been threats by the American company to withdraw the developer account from Epic Games. Everything indicated that Apple was asserting its supremacy but it is not entirely true.

Epic Games announced through a very shocking video that it was not going to tolerate Apple continuing to charge the percentage of commissions that it had been doing so far. That it was about breaking free from the chains of monopoly and being able to go it alone. For this reason, he activated a series of independent payments in Fortnite from the App Store, which it cost the company to withdraw from the game.

But there was something else behind that the game developers did not want to tell us and that Apple did. has revealed in the trial that is being carried out for these events. Apple has officially responded to the lawsuit of the developer of Fornite in court. Despite what Epic CEO Tim Sweeney has said, Apple's Phil Schiller says that Epic asked for a special deal and revealed how Sweeney addressed the situation by sending three emails in the case.

Following its own voluntary actions, Epic is now seeking emergency help. But the "emergence" is entirely Epic's own making. Epic's agreements with Apple expressly state that if an application developer violates the rules of the App Store or the license for developer tools, which apply equally to all developers large and small, Apple will stop working with that developer. Developers working to fool Apple, as Epic has done here, are fired.

From the looks of it, not everything is retaliation or a fight against Apple's monopoly. It could be defined as Anger for not having given in to the wishes of Epic Games
